The “Intelligent” Migration Within Our Solar System-NOT! by Stephen Yulish

With all due respect to journalist Tony R. Elliot, his article “Intelligent Migration Within Our Solar System”, UFO Digest 9/24/08, actually serves to prove that intelligent life may not even exist here on Earth. The article was not only poorly written but was ill conceived and not well thought out in the first place. Elliot took recent “discoveries” on the planet Mars including those mysterious “faces” and “giant pyramids” as well as the discovery of underground water to raise the question of how did the human race come into existence here on Earth in the first place.

He then conjectured without any proof or even an intelligent argument that intelligent life began on Mars and eventually migrated to Earth. In order to try and do this, he had to add that “we thus find ourselves simply unable to accept previously concrete religious ideas of creation.” He thus had to add the obligatory attack on the Biblical view of creation to try and make his argument.

He then unfortunately continued to dig himself a bigger hole when he then wrote that if God was the almighty being that we are told than why would He have created such an “imperfect being” as we humans only to find to His displeasure that we are so individualistic and into a rebellious nature that He eventually was so disgusted that He decided to kill of most of us by a flood and threatened the survivors with torture and death if they did not refrain from disobeying His laws.

Elliot then muddied the waters of this supposed “intelligent migration” even further by stating that evolution has not been proved and humans in the past had been assisted in their development by so called extraterrestrial “teachers” who appeared to the people as gods because of their advanced technological development. His argument that intelligent life migrated from Mars to Earth and eventually would move to Venus was thus truncated by the mandatory attack on the Biblical concept of creation mixed together with an extraterrestrial Martian teacher who guided our development. While there are some compelling arguments on this point elsewhere, this is unfortunately not one of them.

Just for the record, the Bible states that man was not created imperfect but was created for God’s glory (Isaiah 43:7), that man was created in the image of God and that He blessed them (Genesis 1:26-28), that man was wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that man was given free will to be disobedient and so called “individualistic’ and “rebellious’ if he so desired (Genesis 2:16, 3:6), but that God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten son to redeem a fallen mankind with His precious blood (John 3:16. 1 Peter 1:19, Titus 2:11).

Thus, the story of human existence is a love story as simple as that and does not need to be needlessly convoluted by migrations of intelligent life from other planets or need extraterrestrial Martian teachers to assist our development. We are all God’s creation. Sure God is just and sovereign and wants us to obey the moral laws that He has given us, but He is also loving and forgiving and His grace covers a multitude of sins.

In my estimation, it takes more faith to believe this cockamamie “intelligent migration theory” nonsense than to believe the Bible.
